Wüste Negev - Israel | Die Wüste Negev, auch Negeb, nimmt mit etwa 12.000 km² rund 60 Prozent des Staates Israel ein. Es leben jedoch nur knapp zehn Prozent der Bevölkerung in diesem Gebiet. Der Negev wird im Westen von der ägyptisch-israelischen Grenze und dem Gazastreifen, im Osten von der Arawa-Senke und im Norden von der Linie Gaza-En Gedi am Toten Meer begrenzt.
